Our inspection fees vary depending on the folowing criteria:
1) What type
of dwelling?
- What
type of dwelling?
A condominium, single family home/townhome/villa, multi unit,
or commercial structure will be priced differently.
- How
many square feet?
Our fees are based on square footage. the complexity of the
inspection increases with the size of the home. Some larger
homes have high and multiple attic entries, most have several
HVAC units, multiple stories, high roofs, etc. These factors
increase the amount of time on site and the number of items
to inspect.
- How
old is the dwelling?
Older homes typically have problems relating to outdated systems
which require more time to inspect. Many have fuse type electric
panels, knob and tube or 120V aluminum wiring, homeowner improvements
that are problematic, multiple layered roofs, cast iron plumbing,
and so on.
- Are
there additional inspections requested?
There is an additional fee if termite, seawall, pool or under
house crawl space inspections are needed.
